The experience and expertise at Clouth is particularly evident when it comes to doctor blades: All doctor blades, coater blades and creping blades are exclusively manufactured on our very own production machines, which have been self-developed at a rate of more than 80%, guaranteeing maximum quality and flexibility. In combination with continuous research and further development, blades are made out of a wide range of materials for various application fields in paper production.

We are specialists in tailor-made system and custom solutions, and the focus at our branch in Eltmann therefore lies since 1996 on the development of doctor systems for all industrial applications. These have been produced at our headquarters in Hückeswagen since 2023. An extensive range of easy handling products rounds off the branch’s portfolio.

An experienced team in the areas of construction, service and sales is based at Eltmann and operates from there.

Our long-standing international customer base is testament to the fact that our products and services are truly reliable. Clouth products - doctor blades, coater blades, creping blades, retainer systems and accessories - in use in every third paper machine around the world, and in more than every second machine in Europe.
