The Clouth Group consists of several companies these days. Joh. Clouth GmbH in Hückeswagen mainly produces doctor blades, coater blades and creping blades for the paper industry. In addition to the headquarters, since 2003 the Clouth Group has included Clouth Sprenger GmbH in Moers - a business cooperation between the two companies Horst Sprenger GmbH and Joh. Clouth GmbH, which refines coater blades and creping blades with wear protection coatings. Furthermore, since 2006 the Joh. Clouth division in Eltmann has also belonged to the Group. The focus of the division based in Eltmann, Lower Franconia, lies on custom solutions and modifications.
The name "Clouth" has now become synonymous with three companies covering different focal areas, yet all have one common objective: To always deliver the best for the customer, and in doing so to generate measurable competitive advantages for them.
