The quality of a tissue paper depends on many factors. These include not only the raw material and the Yankee cylinder but also our creping blades. These have a decisive influence on production and quality.
Our creping blades have the following tasks:
- It detaches the paper web from the Yankee cylinder while protecting its surface.
- It achieves the longest possible service life and thus maximum productivity.
- It increases the tissue quality.
Different layer and wear characteristics, such as hardness and material removal, are required depending on the customer’s specific application. Accordingly, our CERADIA product range offers a broad spectrum of possible coating types.
Our "all-rounder" in the tissue industry, the CERADIA® 400 creping blade made of carbon steel with a high wear resistant ceramic tip offers you not only universal use in any area of tissue production as well as high wear resistance with long service life, which is made possible not least by the special ceramic coating.
