New sports equipment for the Turnerbund Hückeswagen 1887 e.V.
We are celebrating our 150th anniversary this year and are also allowing social organisations and institutions to take part. The motto alternating between Hückeswagen and Moers, our two main locations, is "150 times ten euros
It will be sporty.
The Turnerbund Hückeswagen 1887 e.V. (TBH) received our donation in September and is therefore delighted to receive 150 new sports items. Sven Albrecht, a long-standing member and trainier of the TBH, had good reason to be happy, as our donation was used to purchase new table tennis racket covers and jerseys. The yoga, badminton and volleyball sports areas were also provided with new equipment.
However, most of the donated sports equipment will be used for children's gymnastics. “We are very happy about the new hoops, skipping ropes and scarf balls. Now we can make our gymnastics lessons even more creative and versatile,” says trainer Constanze Werth.
Tradition meets modernity.
As a popular sports club, the association offers many sports enthusiasts classic gymnastics and gymnastics groups as well as tournament-oriented departments for all age groups. Trend sports such as Zumba and yoga can also be found here.
“Whether young or old, we welcome everyone to our club and are delighted that we can do justice to both the gymnastics groups and the children's gymnastics department with the donation,” says Christian Werth, who is the 2nd Chairman of the Board of Directors. Michael Wolter, 1st Chairman of the Board, also expressed his gratitude for the generous donation.
In October, it will be Moers' turn again.
